I began fly fishing in Michigan in 1975 fishing small ponds and creeks for bass and pan fish.
After moving to Knoxville, TN in 1998 I began to fish the streams of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park as well as other streams in the East Tennessee area. A lot of my time was spent on the Clinch River near Norris Dam catching brown and rainbow trout.
We moved to Middle TN in the spring of 2001 and I began to fish the Caney Fork and Elk Rivers for rainbow, brown and recently brook trout.
We want anglers to have a great day on the river. The 16' 8" Hyde Drift Boat is a safe, comfortable way to float the river and is the best way to cast to trout. This is a great way for seasoned fly fisherman as well as novice fly fisherman to get their chance to catch the fish of a lifetime.
